CONFERENCE, SEMINAR & TRAINING VENUE FOR HIRE

Our venue for hire provides the perfect space for small-medium sized conferences, seminars, training days and professional workshops for up to 50 attendees. The space features a wall mounted 65" LCD screen on which to run presentations and coupled laptop. The space is intimate enough that microphones and speakers are not required to be easily heard when speaking. We are located in the heart of Double Bay on New South Head Rd above the Westpac Bank in Sydney's eastern suburbs. We are surrounded by cafes, bars and eateries and bus transport is available at our door.

VENUE

Our conference venue consists of:

 

  • Entry foyer

  • Main Conference Room

  • 2 x small breakout rooms

 

Our main room seats 45 patrons with standing room for approx 15 more (please note that due to currently health orders during the pandemic our venue may be limited to less patrons than this currently - please check with us before booking). There are two small separate breakout rooms.

    • Registration desk + 2 x chairs

  • Main conference/training room:

    • Custom Built Lectern on raised platform with laptop operator desk next to it 

    • 45 x chairs

    • Air conditioned

    • 65 inch wall-mounted LCD tv

    • Connectivity to LCD for your laptop 

  • 2 x separate meeting rooms each with 1 x table + 3 x chairs

  • Mens & Ladies bathroom facilities

  • WiFi

DISABLED ACCESS

Please note our rooms are on the first floor, one flight of stairs must be ascended to reach our venue. We do however have a stairlift to assist mobility challenged patrons to reach the venue.

PARKING

Best parking is in the Woolworths carpark which is directly behind our building. Access to Woolworths parking is via Patterson street. 1hr free then pay per hour. Limited street parking is also available.

CATERING

Please note that we do not offer in-house catering of any kind or coupled catering packages. All catering must be organised separately by the hirer.

LIGHTING, AUDIO VISUAL & TECHNOLOGY

Lighting is via down lights in the main part of the venue with additional ceiling mounted spots pointing at the speakers lecture area. All lights are dimmable. No special effect lighting is available. Our space features a 65"wall mounted LCD screen which is hooked to a laptop (Mac). Users are welcome to bring their own laptop if desired. Connectivity to the LCD screen is via HDMI (PC) or Lighting (Mac). We have two small portable blue tooth speakers through which music could be streamed from a phone or laptop. Dedicated WiFi is also available. Please note we do not have microphones or wall mounted speakers in the venue. Our venue is small enough that microphones should not be required as speakers can be easily heard without amplification.
